- Department of Visual Communication Design
- The Department of Environmental Art and Design was established in 1986. It consists of four majors: environmental art design, landscape architecture design, exhibition art design, and architectural interior design. At present, there are 29 professional teachers, who come from various professional fields within the field of architecture and their majors.
After nearly 40 years of accumulation, our department has formed a set of professional teaching system combined with design practice. Two years of the professional basic platform in the academy, and 1 year of multi-direction employment training and practice outside, help to cultivate environmental art space design talents who can do good craftsmanship. Our department is committed to cultivating talents with strong professional execution, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and good sense of practical innovation. Through professional learning, we can improve the ability of space construction and space aesthetics. The department has established friendships with many design companies and colleges in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, forming a benign ecological employment effect of “leading and help” for new and old graduates, and providing graduates with a variety of employment opportunities. Students' employment is based in Xiong'an new area and facing the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the whole country.

- The Department of Fashion Technology has four majors: clothing and apparel design, arts and crafts design, character design, and jewelry design and crafts. With the goal of “serving local” and “collaborating educating people”, our department has carried out many research and projects in cultural and creative product design, clothing brand development, new arts and crafts design, inheritance and innovation of intangible cultural heritage and other fields in recent years. Adhering to the development concept of inheritance and innovation, it aims to cultivate high-quality professionals.
There are 18 teachers (17 with master’s degree) including 5 associate professors. Teachers graduated from well-known universities at home and abroad, with rich practical experience and teaching resources.
The Department of Fashion Technology takes care of the development of each student as its responsibility, provides practical training for students, and guides students to participate in various competitions and wins many awards. Attaching importance to innovation, production and research, teachers lead students to develop brands, undertake social projects, and at the same time connect graduates with mature brand companies to ensure employment.
